Peter Wittendorp, CEFA
Managing Director

Peter Wittendorp serves as Managing Director and Head of AEW Asia, with responsibility for managing AEW’s business activities in the Asia Pacific region. He is also a member of AEW Asia’s Investment Committee. Mr. Wittendorp joined AEW in 2006 and has over 19 years of real estate investment experience in both the public and private real estate markets, serving most recently as Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer in Asia for ING Real Estate. Previously, he was Senior Vice President and Head of Fund Operations for Prologis and Executive Vice President and Head of Europe and Asia at ABP Investments, one of the largest pension funds in the world. At APG (formally ABP), Mr. Wittendorp managed over $12 billion of public and private real estate portfolios in Europe and Asia. Prior to that, he was Senior Portfolio Manager at PVF Pension where he was responsible for its global real estate securities portfolio. Mr. Wittendorp received a Master of Science degree in Economics from the University of Amsterdam and holds the Certified EFFAS Financial Analyst designation. He is a recipient of The 1995 Orange Fund Award for Excellence.
