To maintain AEW’s evolving financial planning, analysis and management reporting environment using sound financial practices and financial system tools.

 Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for key business administrator role for AEW’s FP&A system, Oracle Enterprise Planning & Budgeting Cloud Services (EPBCS) application.
  • Perform management reporting and analysis for different levels of AEW’s organization (consolidated, business unit, individual teams, etc).
  • Assemble periodic Board of Director materials and other financial-related reporting for AEW’s parent company as required.
  • Work collaboratively with others in Corporate Finance to support and improve financial reporting and analysis practices amongst the team.
  • Ultimately be viewed as a subject-matter expert for the firm’s FP&A environment.
  • Take on ad-hoc assignments as required.

 Skills & Competencies

  • Bachelor’s degree in business with a concentration in accounting, and with a minimum of three to five years’ experience in the asset management/financial services industry preferred.
  • Proficiency with Oracle/Hyperion Planning and Smartview (ie, Essbase) analysis tools.
  • Expertise in Excel (intermediate/advanced knowledge).
  • Familiarity with general ledger environments and how accounting data is structured.
  • Experience working in an environment where production, controls and daily deadlines are required.
  • Independent worker that maintains strong attention to detail, analytical thinking and interpersonal skills.
