ASSOCIATE Insurance Risk Management

Responsible for assisting the Insurance Risk Manager on insuring the corporate assets of AEW and its parent, Natixis Investment Managers.
Responsibilities
- Manage insurance placement of professional liability lines (errors and omissions, directors and officers’ liability, fiduciary, employment practices, cyber, crime, etc) and property/casualty for corporate offices and employees
- Communicate the insurance coverage procured at corporate level to senior management and investors
- Build and foster strong relationships with Natixis affiliates and internal stakeholders including Legal, Compliance, Risk, IT & Finance.
- Prepare and compile insurance underwriter application information
- Prepare presentation materials and present to insurance underwriters
- Manage all professional liability claims and communicate lessons learned to affiliates and internal stakeholders to mitigate future risks
- Assist in the drafting of policies and procedures to improve risk management and claims experience at corporate level
- Interact and oversee team of insurance brokers
- Educate affiliate and internal stakeholders on insurance market conditions and issues
Skills/Experience Required
- At least 5 years of relevant insurance experience at an investment advisor, insurance broker or insurer with a concentration on professional liability insurance
- Knowledge of property and liability insurance preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize
- Strong computer skills including Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to work effectively and cooperatively as a team member
- Ability to work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to take direction and complete assigned work independently
