Rob Wilkinson is the Chief Executive Officer of AEW Europe with overall responsibility for the management and strategy of the firm. Rob is a member of AEW’s Global Executive Committee and the firm’s European and Asian Investment Committees. Rob joined AEW in 2009 and prior to being appointed CEO in 2014, served as Chief Investment Officer for the firm in Europe. Rob was previously Managing Director at the Goodman Group and a member of the firm’s European Executive Committee. Rob has over 27 years of real estate and financial services experience, holds a degree in Law from the University of Cambridge and is a qualified chartered accountant. He is a member of the Management Board of INREV and was recently appointed Vice Chair of the organisation. Rob has also participated in the Bank of England Commercial Property Forum and previously served as a non-executive director of Grainger plc.

Raphaël Brault is Chief Investment Officer & Head of France for AEW in Europe. Raphaël is a member of the firm’s European Executive Committee and European Investment Committee, and is responsible for coordinating fund management and investment activities across Europe. In France, Raphaël oversees all French business activities, including management of strategies, investments and asset management. He has 25 years of real estate experience, and prior roles include 12 years with Morgan Stanley in the Real Estate Funds and Real Estate Structured Finance Divisions. Raphaël graduated from the ESSEC Business School in Paris.

Stephan Boenning is the Head of Germany and Central Europe, based in Düsseldorf. Stephan is responsible for all German and Central Europe business activities, including the overall management of strategies, and the investments and asset management carried out by AEW's German platform. Prior to joining AEW, Stephan Boenning was Managing Director of AXA Investment Managers and Aachener Grundvermögen, both German Kapitalanlagegesellschaft, where he was in charge of real estate investments and fund management. Stephan has over 30 years of real estate experience and is a graduate of the Fachhochschule Nuertingen.

Vanessa Roux-Collet is Managing Director and General Counsel Europe for AEW in Europe. Vanessa joined AEW’s legal department in 2010, before being appointed as Head of Legal in Paris in 2015 and General Counsel in 2018. She is responsible of a team in charge of all compliance, insurance and legal matters across the European business of AEW. Prior to joining AEW, Vanessa was a senior lawyer at Clifford Chance within the real estate legal department. Vanessa has more than 22 years of experience, was admitted to the Paris bar, holds a master’s degree in Banking and Financial Law from Paris I University as well as a master’s degree in Common Law from Paris II University.

Hans Vrensen is Managing Director and Head of European Research & Strategy for AEW with responsibility for directing the firm’s research activities in Europe. Based in London, he is a member of the AEW European Investment Committee and a member of the firm’s Global Securities Allocation Committee. Hans' responsibilities include monitoring, evaluating and forecasting the macroeconomic environment, demographic trends and capital market conditions across Europe. He interprets this information for AEW’s senior professionals in order to provide decision support to the investment, asset management and portfolio management activities. Prior to joining AEW, Hans acted as an external consultant to CREFC Europe prior to that served as Global Head of Research for DTZ. He was also the Head of European Securitization Research at Barclays Capital prior to that a Senior Credit Officer at Moody’s Investor Services. Hans has a Masters in Economics from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and a Masters in Real Estate from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Alex Griffiths is Managing Director and Head of Investor Relations for AEW's European business and is based in London. She joined AEW in 2013 and focuses on capital raising and client relationship management for pan-European funds and separate accounts. Jonathan Stevens is Managing Director and Head of Private Debt at AEW, based in London. He is a member of AEW’s European Executive Committee and is responsible for the strategic direction and growth of AEW’s Private Debt platform which comprises real estate, infrastructure, aviation and corporate debt. Prior to joining AEW in 2023, Jonathan was Deputy Chief Investment Officer and Head of Infrastructure (Debt) at BlackRock, where he led their $10 billion European infrastructure debt business. Jonathan has over 25 years of experience and started his career at PwC, he has since held senior positions at West LP AG, BNY Mellon and CIBC. Jonathan holds a degree in Physics from the University of Sussex.

Carsten Czarnetzki is Managing Director and the Country Head for Spain, based in Madrid. He is responsible for all Spanish business activities, including investments and asset management and in particular for sourcing opportunities and overseeing asset management activities for two non-core pan-European strategies. Carsten joined AEW in 2012 and was based in the London office for four years before relocating to Spain in late 2016 to run the Madrid office. Prior to joining AEW, Carsten held a number of positions in fund management, investments and asset management across the USA and Europe. He began his career in the investment banking division of Deutsche Bank, focusing on real estate mergers and acquisitions. He also gained experience working in the private equity real estate area at JER Partners, as well as Starwood Capital Group in the UK, the USA and France. He then joined Generali Immobiliare in Paris as Director of investment funds and asset management, where he was entrusted with overseeing funds and assets in Europe and the US. Carsten holds a Master’s degree in Management from ESCP Europe, Paris, and completed a degree in Business Administration at the Ludwig Maximilian University.

Christina is a Managing Director and Head of Fund Management at AEW, based in Frankfurt. Christina has overall responsibility for the management of AEW’s strategies that are managed from AEW Invest in Germany, including oversight of strategy, portfolio construction and client relationships.

Prior to these roles at CBRE Global Investors, she fulfilled different roles within the investment and asset management industry at various real estate companies including Equity Estate, Jones Lang LaSalle and Royal Haskoning. Frederique holds an Executive MBA from the Erasmus University in Rotterdam and a Bachelor’s Degree in Building Engineering from Rotterdam University.

Nick Winsley is Managing Director and Head of AEW UK, based in London. Nick is responsible for the management of a UK value add strategy and a build-to-core logistics partnership. Prior to joining AEW in 2011, Nick was a Director within the UBS UK real estate team, a Portfolio Manager for the UBS Secure Income Property Fund and was a member of the UK Investment Committee governing all UK property funds. Between 2000 and 2007, Nick was an Associate Director at Colliers CRE where he specialised in valuation, landlord & tenant, agency, investment and development. Nick is a Chartered Surveyor (MRICS) and holds the IMC.

Jeff Furber joined AEW in 1997 and from 1999 to 2020 served as Global Chief Executive Officer. In 2020, Mr. Furber transitioned from Global Chief Executive Officer to the newly created role of Global Chairman, primarily overseeing the completion of a firm-wide leadership succession plan. He retired from AEW in 2023.

Under his leadership, AEW experienced extraordinary growth, expanding from a small U.S.-focused firm with $8 billion of assets under management to a $90 billion1 global real estate platform with 18 offices and over 800 professionals offering institutional investors diversified real estate strategies in North America, Europe, and Asia.

Mr. Furber is a member of the Board of STAG Industrial Inc. (NYSE: STAG), the Boston Children's Hospital Trust; and the Ogunquit Playhouse, as well as a former member of the Board of The Howard Hughes Corporation (NYSE: HHH). He is a graduate of Dartmouth College and Harvard Business School.

Anne Niedbalski is the Head of HR at AEW, based in Paris. Anne joined AEW in 2024 from Natixis Investment Managers International, where she held the position of Senior HR Business Partner, managing HR teams across Europe within the Distribution, Portfolio Management teams and support functions. In this role, Anne was responsible for ensuring the HR coverage of 230 employees in France, Switzerland, Luxembourg and Belgium. She has also worked extensively with HR teams across Paris, London, Boston and Hong Kong. Anne started her career in 1999 as an HR Assistant in the tourism industry. She subsequently held HR roles in the fleet industry. Anne holds a degree in Human and Social Sciences and a Master's degree in Human Resources Development.

Alex Griffiths is Managing Director and Head of Investor Relations for AEW's European business and is based in London. She joined AEW in 2013 and focuses on capital raising and client relationship management for pan-European strategies. Prior to joining AEW, Alex worked in the Corporate Finance team at Jones Lang La Salle in London having begun her career at King Sturge prior to its merger with JLL. Alex completed an Economics degree at Durham University and an MSc in Real Estate at Oxford Brookes.

Bianca Kraus is responsible for German-speaking clients within the Investor Relations Division. Bianca joined AEW in 2019 and is responsible for building and managing relationships with institutional investors in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Bianca has over 20 years of experience in the real estate industry and joins AEW from BNP Paribas where she was Head of Customer and Fund Relations. Bianca is a Certified Real Estate Analyst (CERA) with a diploma in Business Administration from the University of Regensburg.

Matilda Williams is a Director in the Investor Relations team and is based in London. She joined AEW in 2022 and is responsible for capital raising and client relationship management for Pan-European strategies. Matilda joined AEW from PineBridge Benson Elliot where she spent 11 years in their Investor Relations team responsible for capital raising, project management and investor reporting. Matilda holds a BA in Modern Languages (French and German) from Oxford University.

Emmanuel Brechard joined AEW in January 2023 as a Director in the Investor Relations team. He is based in Paris and is responsible for client relationship management for AEW's investors primarily from France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland and Monaco. Emmanuel joined AEW from Bpifrance where he spent 10 years and was latterly responsible for investor relations and fund raising for their private equity funds. He also formerly headed up the Middle East & Central Asia office for Bpifrance and worked in structured finance for corporate and RE transactions, having started his career in M&A. Emmanuel has a Master's degree in Asset Management & Financial Markets from IAE Clermont Auvergne.
