AEW Europe acquires 55,000 sqm Grade A logistics asset North-East of Milan, Italy

AEW Europe, one of the world’s largest real estate investment and asset managers[1], announces the off-market acquisition of a Grade A, c. 55,000 sqm fully let logistics asset from DWS in the North-East of Milan, a strategic location for logistics services in Northern Italy.

Completed in 2018 as a build-to-suit project for a global third-party logistics company, this asset features high technical specifications. Arcese, which operates from 100 locations globally, uses the asset as its main European hub and fully leases the space with a WALT of c. 23 years. Built to high technical specifications, the property has BREEAM Good In-Use certification[2].

Located in Basiano, the building is situated in a prime market for logistics, located 20 km from Milan and benefits from access to the A4 motorway, a critical route for freight transportation in Northern Italy, which also connects to the European Transportation Corridors. The site also forms part of a wider industrial zone for manufacturing and commercial activities.
