AEW Europe appoints Gwénaël Dupeux as Head of Technology & Transformation

AEW Europe, one of the world’s largest real estate investment and asset managers [1], announces the appointment of Gwénaël Dupeux to the newly created role of Head of Technology & Transformation. Gwénaël Dupeux, who joins the firm today, is based in Paris and reports directly to Vanessa Roux-Collet, AEW Europe’s CEO.

In this role, Gwénaël Dupeux will lead AEW Europe’s technology, data, AI and transformation agenda, overseeing the firm’s IT, data, and process management functions, as well as corporate development activities across Europe. Gwénaël Dupeux will work closely with AEW Europe’s teams of experts across Europe to enhance their integration and utilisation of data-driven insights and solutions, ultimately maximising value for the firm’s clients.

Gwénaël Dupeux brings two decades of experience in designing and executing innovative organisational strategies within the financial and investment industry. He joins AEW Europe from BPCE, the second-largest banking group in France and parent company of Natixis Investment Managers (of which AEW Europe is an affiliate). Prior to this, Gwénaël Dupeux spent ten years at Natixis Corporate & Investment Banking, most recently as Co-Head of its Transformation Management Office. In this role, he led and accelerated the bank's key transformation initiatives, co-managing a team of 50 professionals.
