AEW Europe, one of the world’s largest real estate investment and asset managers[1], announces the promotion of Thierry Locatelli to Head of Investments France. He is based in Paris and reports to Vanessa Roux-Collet, CEO Europe and Head of France at AEW Europe. Cyrille Levassor has been appointed Deputy Head of Investments France, reporting to Thierry Locatelli. Both appointments take effect immediately.
Thierry has 30 years of experience in the real estate industry. He began his career at Société Générale within the asset management division. He then joined the Natixis Group in 2001, where he held several senior positions in real estate asset management. In 2013, Thierry joined AEW Europe’s investments department, becoming Deputy Head in 2020. He holds a law degree from Université Sorbonne Paris Nord.

Cyrille has played several important roles in AEW Europe's French investment team since he joined in 2013. He holds a degree from ESSEC Business School and ESTP.
Thierry leads a team of 11 professionals who invest on behalf of institutional and retail clients across France, in all major asset classes (logistics, offices, retail, residential, healthcare, hospitality, etc.) and across the entire spectrum of investment strategies. Currently, AEW Europe manages a growing portfolio in France, totalling 6 million sqm.
Jérémy Convert will soon be leaving AEW Europe to explore new professional opportunities outside the group.
